There isn't a day that I don't think about writing in this journal.
There is so much I want to say, but so little time to write it all down, but rest assured, the little time I do have I spend writing it (but necessarily publishing it).
Truth of the matter is that I'm working on all entries in the guide at the same time. Many of them are incomplete, however, I've many more that are near completion but I intend to double-check my work and verify some of the finer math involved, as arithmetic is not my forte.
The new update also means grounds for revising some of my earlier posts (i.e. HMP in "The main builds")
In the coming week, I hope to complete the following:
How to Cure
The Fall of Regen
The Configuration Menu
In a month: Common Sense(s)
How to Cure is going to be a curious one. It's a basic action every mage does (or should be doing), but fails to execute efficiently. This results often in more MP expended than necessary, or death of another player character (PC). I will be detailing common mistakes, as well as methods of quickly targeting a PC.
The Fall of Regen I expect to be something of controversy. Many hold regen-series spells to heart and use it almost exclusively. I'll explain my experiences, and how my opinion has since changed regarding this particular line of spells. While I will not condemn its use, I will explain why using it blindly will result in more MP wasted over time.
The Configuration Menu will detail the options available to your average computer player, and what you can do to help alleviate yourself of dreaded lag, and increase your overall efficiency.
Common Sense(s) explains a very important aspect of playing, that I'm sure many players overlook, perhaps even ignore. There's more to the game than what you can see. This one will take some time, as I hope to make it something more interactive.
I also intend to make an extra post concerning something that I've yet to receive a valid explanation for. Call it a rant, or whatever but I think it's safe to say the following concerning general all-purpose casting:
Walahra Turban sucks.
I await the angry White (Mage) mob running down Aht Urghan Whitegate, with their torches in one hand and their underleveled blunt club object on the other. They'll be yelling and screaming with their navy blue rags on their heads securely fastened with their oh-so-stylish chin strap, but failing to actually giving me a good reason why their fashionably-challenged choice in headgear is any good for them.
I look forward to writing these posts.
